Type of material
Type of material
BEA AEQUILIBRIUM KIT is designed for the biological management of nutrients and the maintenance of microbial balance in marine aquariums, promoting stable conditions that are less prone to unwanted blooms such as cyanobacteria, dinoflagellates, and algae.
Composition
Composition
Blend of marine microbial consortia on an organo-mineral matrix, enriched with enzymes, trace elements, nutrients, metabolic stimulants, and specific carbon sources.
Features and format
Features and format
The kit includes the four packs Aequilibrium A, E, Z and PRO, for a total of 40 capsules.
Dosage
Dosage
Follow the dosage and administration instructions in the schedule.
To make it easier to dose the correct amount for the size of the system, you can dilute the entire contents of the capsule in 100 ml of aquarium water, use the amount needed, and store the remainder in the refrigerator for the next dose.

- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The BEA AEQUILIBRIUM KIT is the result of years of research and innovation in marine aquarium keeping, offering advanced support for the care, maintenance, and balance of marine habitats.Containing four key products – PRO, A, E, Z – the AEQUILIBRIUM protocol was designed to provide a comprehensive, synergistic approach to the biological management of the aquarium.
The kit helps maintain a stable biological balance, giving aquarists practical tools to establish and sustain a balanced marine ecosystem over time.
Thanks to the combination of selected microbial consortia, enzymes of particular importance, trace elements, and nutrients, each component of the kit contributes synergistically to supporting the aquarium’s natural processes.
Properties and Benefits:- Biological balance: interaction between autotrophic and heterotrophic communities that promotes a stable marine environment.
- Nutrient management: supports the transformation of a wide range of organic compounds through natural biological processes.
- Biochemical efficiency: the kit’s components contribute to nitrification and denitrification cycles and the mineralization of organic detritus, improving overall water quality.
- Natural control: regular use of the protocol helps maintain stable biological conditions, making the aquarium less prone to the formation of slime and unwanted growth, including cyanobacteria, dinoflagellates, and algae.
The BEA AEQUILIBRIUM KIT is an innovative solution for supporting the long-term stability of modern marine aquariums.

- ADMINISTRATION
Follow the dosage and administration instructions in the schedule.Dose rationally and in accordance with the test results. Be careful not to overdose, and adjust the dosing interval according to the system’s conditions.
Dose one capsule per 500-1000 liters or half a capsule per 100-500 liters. Dilute the contents of the capsule in 100 ml of aquarium water and pour into an area with strong water flow (preferably in the sump). Turn off the skimmer for about 30 minutes.
Once the first cycle is complete, stop dosing for one week, then assess the system’s conditions to determine whether to repeat the cycle or switch to another dosing schedule.

WARNINGS
Product for technical use in ornamental aquariums. Keep out of
reach of children. Not intended for animal feed or for veterinary or human use. This product is not a biocide under Regulation (EU) 528/2012.
Does not contain pathogenic organisms.

RIPENING
Bacterial protocol for newly set up aquariums and during cycling/tank transfers.
For tanks that have been cycling for a long time, repeat the first 4 weeks of the cycle after a one-week break.
One capsule per 500-1000 liters, half a capsule per 100-500 liters.

RESOLUTION
Bacterial protocol for aquariums with medium/high nutrient levels, algae, algal and bacterial films, sludge, detritus, and low redox. If the problem persists, repeat the cycle after a one-week break.
One capsule per 500-1000 liters, half a capsule per 100-500 liters.

MAINTENANCE
Bacterial protocol for maintaining aquariums with low or zero nutrient levels, no filamentous algae or algal and bacterial films, little detritus, and generally high redox. Once the cycle is complete, stop dosing for one week.
One capsule per 500-1000 liters, half a capsule per 100-500 liters.
BEA CYCLE INOCULATION
-
To promote nitrifying activity.
To stimulate nitrifying activity, pour 4 or 5 liters of aquarium water
into a bucket and add the BEA CYCLE.Add the contents of 2 capsules
of BEA AEQUILIBRIUM A and 2 of BEA AEQUILIBRIUM PRO, keeping the water at 25°C, oxygenated and moving for 24/48 hours using an aerator or pump.
Then place the BEA CYCLE in the sump, in an area with strong flow and good oxygenation.Do not pour the culture water back into the aquarium.
-
Column
To promote denitrifying activity.
To stimulate denitrifying activity, pour 4 or 5 liters of aquarium water
into a bucket and add the BEA CYCLE.Add the contents of 2 capsules
of BEA AEQUILIBRIUM A and 2 of BEA AEQUILIBRIUM PRO, keeping the water at 25°C, without movement or aeration for 24/48 hours.
Afterward, place the BEA CYCLE in the sump, in an area with little movement and low oxygenation.Do not pour the culture water back into the aquarium.
DSB-SSB inoculation
-
For every 300 liters of aquarium water, dissolve the contents of one BEA AEQUILIBRIUM A capsule and one BEA AEQUILIBRIUM PRO capsule in a small amount of clean aquarium water, using only a few milliliters.
Leave the resulting solution to stand for 8/12 hours.
After the standing period, use a large pipette or a syringe to draw up the liquid. Then inject the solution directly into the deepest substrate layer of the DSB-SSB, distributing it evenly across several spots.
Repeat the entire procedure if necessary. -
