L's integration of BEA GREEN PRO in a marine aquarium is primarily aimed at:

1. Promote the stability of the system and nutrient export.
2. Feed zooplankton, benthic organisms, and filter feeders.
3. Provide bioactive molecules to the animals being raised.
   
   

BEA GREEN PRO is a blend of various marine phytoplankton strains, particularly useful both as food and for nutrient export. This product has a remarkable ability to absorb and metabolize nutrients present in the system.
Its unique distinguishing feature is its ability to use both autotrophic and mixotrophic metabolism. This enhances nutrient export in aquariums where bacterial proliferation techniques using carbon dosing are employed.

From a nutritional point of view, BEA GREEN PRO is rich in lipids and essential fatty acids, which are fundamental to the growth and development of animals.
With sizes ranging from 2 to 20 microns, it is particularly useful as food for filter feeders, bivalves, and zooplankton.

• HOW TO USE

For a 200-liter aquarium with an average stocking level, dose 100-200 ml every other day.

Dose when the lights are turned off to prioritize use as food, or when they are turned on to facilitate nutrient export.

For a newly set up or lightly stocked aquarium, start with 50-100 ml per 200 liters.

It is preferable to turn off the return pump and skimmer for a few minutes.

No risk of overdosing.

Completely free of fertilizer residues, it is harvested only once it reaches extremely high densities.

Shake well before use.

BEA Green Pro can be used as a starter culture together with BEA PHYTO BOOST.

We recommend refreshing the culture approximately every 2-3 months to maintain the correct proportion of the different microalgae that make up the mixture.

• STORAGE

The product can be stored in the refrigerator (8°-12°) for at least 60 days. Shake it regularly to resuspend the cells. As long as the cells resuspend properly and the product does not change color radically, the phytoplankton is alive and can be used.

A slight sulfurous odor in our phytoplankton product is completely normal and no cause for concern. It is important to note that the human sense of smell is particularly sensitive to certain sulfur molecules, so even an extremely low concentration can be easily detected. This odor is generated by the presence of specific amino acids and by the variety of phytoplankton species included in the mixture. It is essential to emphasize that this characteristic does not indicate any danger or harmfulness; on the contrary, it is a natural sign of the product’s composition and freshness. The products inside the package are carefully packed and protected for transport, both during the cold season and the warmer season, and are prepared to travel safely even for several days.
