Caulerpa brachypus is a fast-growing green macroalga, suitable for use in a refugium.
Popular with tangs and other algae eaters.
It grows very quickly, absorbing large quantities of nitrogen.
Warning, this is an extremely fast-growing alga and is very aggressive, so it should only be kept in a dedicated system. Like many Caulerpa species, it can crash during sexual reproduction or following sudden changes in water parameters. -
