BEA MESOCOSMO PRO is a high-density culture of live marine zooplankton. It allows you to feed corals with live food of superior quality.

Thanks to the balanced consortium of organisms it contains, it can be incorporated into management protocols for dinoflagellates and cyanobacteria, competing with these problematic organisms for nutrients and biological niches and helping to restore the aquarium’s biological balance.

Composition

Harpacticoid and calanoid copepods, tisbe, rotifers, cladocerans, Euplotes,
microplankton, nanoplankton, picoplankton, probiotics.

The product naturally contains dissolved nutrients (rapidly absorbed and processed by the biological community), naturally present in the culture medium. Dilution in the system does not result in significant, measurable increases.

    • HOW TO USE


    For a moderately stocked 200 L aquarium, dose 100-200 ml every other day.

    Dose when the lights go out.

    For new aquarium and refugium setups, use up to 5 L per 200 L.

    It is preferable to turn off the return pump and skimmer for a few minutes.

    There is no danger in case of overdose.

    The culture color may vary from a delicate yellow to a more or less intense green.

    Note: The presence of sediment at the bottom and small particles is completely normal and is a natural characteristic of the product.

    The organisms in PRO Mesocosm are predominantly benthic and live in close contact with sandy and muddy substrates; for this reason, the contents may include sediment and organic material associated with their habitat. This particulate matter must not be filtered or removed before use, as it is a biologically active component of the product and contributes to introducing the microecosystem into the aquarium.

    Shake well before use.

    • STORAGE

    The products inside the package are carefully conditioned and protected for transport, both during the cold season and the warmer season, and are prepared to travel safely even for several days.


    The product can be stored at a temperature between 8°-12° for at least 30-60 days. We recommend oxygenating the contents regularly and shaking them to resuspend the organisms present.
